Give me meat!

In the form of bread…

Ingredients:

Directions:

Note: This recipe is from Twisted, link is at the bottom

  1. Saute peppers and onions with 1 tsp salt
  2. In a medium – large mixing bowl: Mix Ground Beef, Oregano, garlic powder, cayenne, black pepper and 1 tsp of salt together
  3. On a baking sheet lined with foil, spread the ground beef out flat and evenly across the sheet.
  4. Layer provolone across ground beef 3 slices overlapping and overlapping the subsequent rows.
  5. Spread the Green peppers and onions over the provolone
  6. Next, roll the ground beef into a log, using the foil to assist in the wrapping, then wrap the foil around the log.
  7. With the ground beef rolled up, layer the baking sheet with more foil and then layer the bacon out evenly across the baking sheet. Top to bottom and side to side, covering the baking sheet.
  8. Take the ground beef log, lay it on the end of the baking sheet, and remove the foil. Using the foil from the bacon in the baking sheet to assist in rolling the log in the bacon, so the bacon is wrapped around the log. Wrapping the foil around the bacon hugged ground beef log.
  9. Bake 20 minutes at 360 degrees while wrapped.
  10. Remove the foil.
  11. Bake an additional 30 minutes.
  12. Enjoy!
